How do I install Leif?
You can install Leif from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, it works automatically on supported shopping sites — no setup required.
What does the ESG score mean?
The ESG score rates a company's sustainability across three areas: Environmental impact, Social responsibility, and Governance practices. Higher scores indicate stronger performance in these areas.
Where does the data come from?
We aggregate data from corporate sustainability reports, third-party certifications, regulatory filings, and established ESG rating frameworks. Visit our Methodology page for more details.
Is Leif free to use?
Yes! Leif is completely free for all users. Our mission is to make sustainable shopping accessible to everyone.
Which websites does Leif work on?
Leif currently works on Amazon, with support for more retailers coming soon.
How often are scores updated?
We regularly update our database as new sustainability data becomes available. Most scores are refreshed on a quarterly basis.
I can't find a score for a product. Why?
We may not have data for every brand yet. We're constantly expanding our coverage. If you'd like to request a brand be added, reach out through our Contact page.
